The AI Tsunami has already started and it will get even greater in intensity and power over the next few years. Every single business, every single organisation and every single person in every country will be impacted by this. Increasing AI capability and the application of AI agents and robots will transform businesses  but will result in a massive loss of jobs. By 2030 there will be job losses of about 20% in the knowledge industries (lawyers, writers, accountants etc )  and robot working will result in losses of 30% of manual or labour-intensive jobs.

With the reduction in the numerous, mundane, boring repetitive, mind-numbing jobs or parts of jobs,  workers will be freed up to do more productive work, making businesses more productive and profitable. Some workers will even get the opportunity to do more meaningful jobs, pursue jobs with a purpose or to even consider changing careers to pursue their passion for arts or other activities.

Humans will not lose their jobs to AI but will lose them to a human who can use AI. Hence it is crucial that workers who want to keep their jobs or to develop new careers , familiarise themselves with AI  and find ways to enhance their capabilities by the use of AI. 

Whenever a new technological age emerges it also brings opportunities and new types of jobs. One new job where there is already a growing demand is for AI -Agent developers. It is now not even necessary to know any computer programming languages to be an Ai -Agent Developer so anyone can learn how to do it.
